Greetings from the First Settlers DE Team!
Our Spring DE event at VIR for this year will be 21-23 May on the Full Course all three days.
Please note that this is not Memorial Day weekend, nor is it a Saturday-Monday event as in recent years, so please mark your calendars carefully. Additionally, we will be conducting a PCA National DE Instructor Certification Clinic on Friday, so this will change things up a bit.
Friday, 21 May: PCA National DE Instructor Clinic and solo driver DE day - The clinic is open to experienced drivers desiring to become an instructor and to instructors desiring a PCA National DE Instructor certification. PCA membership is not a prerequisite for attending the clinic and/or receiving PCA National Certification. This day will otherwise be open only to solo drivers for regular DE track time (i.e. White group and above - no students). We invite our experienced drivers interested in becoming instructors to attend the clinic, and our already experienced instructors to attend and serve as "instructor mentors" and receive their PCA certification as well. Saturday and Sunday 22-23 May: Open to all groups
The DE Intro session will occur on Saturday after lunch. If you've never driven your car on the track and would like to try it out, or if you have a friend or relative that may be interested, our single session DE is the perfect opportunity.
